Terms of Use

The agreement

These terms are between you and Wixom Interactive LLC. Using the Practice Tests site, buying a test or entering a license key means you accept them. The site is made for adults preparing for professional certification exams. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, which is 18 in most places, or have a parent or guardian's permission. If you use the site for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

The service

Practice Tests offers original practice material: multiple-choice questions with explanations, case studies with model answers and marking guides, timed practice exams, drills, weak-spot tracking and glossaries. Every test has a free sample that needs no sign-up. A purchase unlocks the full set of that test, and the all-access plan unlocks every test on the site.

The material is written to resemble the format and syllabus of a real certification exam. It is not the official exam and it is not the official study material. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any certification body, exam provider or standards organisation. The names of exams, standards and the bodies that run them belong to their owners and appear here only to say what a test prepares you for. Each test's page carries its own non-affiliation notice.

No guarantee. We do not promise that you will pass any exam, that our questions match what the real exam asks, or that the content reflects the latest version of a syllabus; exam bodies change their material without telling us. Use these tests alongside the official material, never instead of it. Nothing on the site is legal, security, compliance or other professional advice for you or your organisation.

Your licence

A purchase gives one person a personal, non-transferable licence to use the full set of that test on the devices they personally use: for as long as the site runs for a one-time purchase, or for as long as the plan is active for all-access. Your license key is personal. Do not share it, post it or resell it; we may disable a key that is being shared. We own the content and the site. You may make notes for your own study, but you may not copy, scrape, record, redistribute or sell the content, or use it to build a competing product.

Payments, renewals, refunds

Tests are sold through Gumroad, which is the merchant of record: Gumroad takes the payment, issues the receipt and the license key, charges and remits sales tax or VAT where the law requires, and holds your purchase record. Gumroad's own terms apply to the purchase itself. Prices are in US dollars and are shown on this site and again at Gumroad's checkout before you pay; any tax is added at checkout.

One test is a one-time purchase. All-access is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Gumroad receipt email or your Gumroad account, which is as easy as subscribing; cancelling stops the next charge and keeps access until the end of the month you paid for, after which the key stops unlocking.

Refunds. If a test is not what you needed, ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase, or within 14 days of the first charge for all-access, by email to us or through Gumroad. We do not ask why. Renewal charges are not refunded, so cancel before the next one if you want to stop. A refund ends your licence and the key stops working. If you live in the EU, EEA or UK you have a legal right to withdraw within 14 days of a purchase; our refund rule honours that right in full, including when you have already used the content.

Acceptable use

Do not copy or scrape the content, access the site with automated tools, try to work around the unlock system or forge its cookies, share keys, interfere with the service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may rate-limit or stop use that harms the service.

Your progress

Your answers, scores and history live only in your browser. We cannot see them and we cannot recover them if you clear your browser's data or change devices. Your key works on another device; your progress does not follow it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the site available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may correct questions, update content to follow a changed syllabus, and add or retire tests. A test you bought stays available while the site runs. If we retire a test you bought in the previous twelve months, or close the site, we refund that purchase in full and refund the unused part of any all-access month. We give at least 30 days' notice of anything that affects paid access.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided as is, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the content is free of errors or current. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

Termination

You can stop using the site at any time. We can end your licence and disable a key if you break these terms, telling you why unless the law prevents it. The sections on your licence, ownership, liability and disputes survive the end of the agreement.

Governing law and disputes

Utah law governs these terms, and the state and federal courts in Utah have venue, except that if you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK you keep the protection of your local mandatory law and may bring a claim in your local courts. Before either of us starts a legal claim, we agree to try to resolve the matter by email for 30 days.

Changes to these terms

We post changes on this page with a new effective date. Using the site after that date means you accept them. A change never reduces what a purchase you already made gives you.
