Privacy Policy
Effective: 1 October 2026. Who we are: Wixom Interactive LLC, a Utah limited liability company, Ogden, Utah, United States. Contact: skylor@wixominteractive.com.
What this covers
The Practice Tests website, at practice-tests-2s5.pages.dev and any domain we later move it to. Nothing else Wixom Interactive does. Buying a test happens on Gumroad, a separate company with its own privacy policy, linked below.
What we collect and why
There are no accounts on this site. We never ask for your name or email address. The short version: your progress stays in your browser, and the only thing that reaches our server is a license key when you choose to enter one.
| Data | Why | Basis | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your license key, when you enter it | To check with Gumroad that it is valid and unlock the full set in your browser | Contract | Our server does not store it. The unlock cookie holds a shortened fingerprint of the key, not the key. Your browser keeps the key in local storage until you remove it |
| Your answers, scores, weak spots and exam history | To run the tests and show your progress | Contract | In your browser only. It is never sent to us. It stays until you clear it with the buttons on the site or clear the site's data in your browser |
| The request data every browser sends when it loads a page: your IP address, browser type and the page requested | To deliver the site and protect it from abuse | Legitimate interest | We keep no server logs of our own. Cloudflare, our host, handles this data under its own policy |
Who else sees it (processors)
- Gumroad sells the tests and the all-access plan. It takes your payment, sends your receipt and your license key, and holds your purchase record. Your name, email address and payment details go to Gumroad, not to us. When you enter a key on this site, our server sends that key and the product's id to Gumroad's license service, which answers whether the key is valid and whether the purchase was refunded or the plan has ended. Gumroad is a US company. Gumroad's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the small piece of server code that checks keys. Like every web host, it sees your IP address and request details in order to serve the pages and block abuse. Cloudflare is a US company with a worldwide network. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
No other company receives anything. The site loads no analytics, no advertising scripts and no third-party fonts.
What we never do
We do not sell data. We show no ads. We run no analytics or tracking. We do not share anything with data brokers. We have no email list, because we never receive your email address; any email about your purchase comes from Gumroad under its policy and your choices there.
Your rights
Because nothing about you is stored on our side, there is nothing for us to export or delete. Everything the site knows about you is in your browser, and you control it directly: "Remove the key from this device" removes a license key, the Weak spots and History pages have clear buttons, and clearing the site's data in your browser removes all of it. Your purchase record, your receipt and refunds live in your Gumroad account.
If you want to ask anything about your data, email skylor@wixominteractive.com and we answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in a US state whose privacy law applies to us, the same rights apply and the same email works.
Cookies and storage
Only strictly necessary cookies and storage, so there is no cookie banner: nothing here needs consent.
- Cookies. One per unlocked test, named
pt_followed by the test's short name, pluspt_allfor the all-access plan. Each is set only after you enter a valid key. It is a signed token holding the test name, a shortened fingerprint of your key and an expiry date; it cannot be read by page scripts. A test cookie lasts 30 days, the all-access cookie 7 days, so a cancelled plan locks again. Visiting the site without entering a key sets no cookies at all. - Local storage.
practicetests.keysholds the keys you entered, so the site can re-check them with Gumroad when a cookie expires without asking you again.practicetests.followed by the test's name holds your progress for that test. Both stay until you remove them.
Children
The site is made for adults preparing for professional certification exams. It is not directed at children under 16, and because there are no accounts we collect nothing from anyone. Buying is subject to Gumroad's own age rules.
Security
Every connection uses HTTPS. The unlock cookie is signed with a secret held only on the server, so it cannot be forged, and it is marked so that page scripts cannot read it. Key checks run on our server, so the Gumroad product id never reaches your browser. The pages carry a content security policy that limits what they can load. Because we store no personal data, a breach of this site cannot expose any. If we ever learn of an incident that affects you, we post it on this page and tell the authorities where the law requires; Gumroad notifies you of incidents on its side under its own policy.
International transfers
The site is run from the United States by a US company on Cloudflare's worldwide network, and the key check is a request to Gumroad in the United States. For users in the EU, EEA or UK, the only data that crosses borders is the request data every web page load carries and the license key you enter. Both processors publish their safeguards for those transfers, including standard contractual clauses and, where certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; see the links above.
Changes
We post changes on this page with a new effective date. There is no email list, so check this page if you want to know. A change that affects what we collect applies 14 days after it is posted.
